Team Impact is a group that excels in partnering with children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses to match them with a college program. With doing this it will create a bond between the child and the team, where many activities will take place and also a signing day will be held to bring this child onto the respective team. Teams that apply for a child are put onto a waiting list and teams are chosen based on where the child lives. http://www.goteamimpact.org/
The American International College Football team was honored to sign Landen Palatino. Landen is 8 years old and in the third grade. He lives with his family in Springfield, MA. December of 2015 he began having seizures, each one was worse than the one before and he was diagnosed with epilepsy. They completed the MRI and found his glioblastoma (brain tumor). The players and staff of the American International College football team are taking Landen and the Palatino family in with open arms, hoping to create a lasting and memorable relationship.
